La Aduana: 2004 Land Rover Discovery Camper

I’ve seen some seriously interesting vehicles roll through our for sale section. Unimogs, VW’s, and Sprinters are all common campers to grace our pages, but a Discovery? That’s something different.

I’ll be honest, this truck made its way onto the front page after some serious internal debate. On the one hand the concept of a “european style” camper is solid and the execution appears to be good, but on the other hand, this Land Rover definitely has its own style and look to it. And not one that we would have imagined.

One thing is for certain though, with only 72,000 miles this Discovery is still in its prime and ready for an adventure. We’ll let you decide if it would be worth taking.  Check it out on the for sale section here:

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Chris didn’t receive a real taste of the outdoors until moving to Prescott, Arizona, in 2009. While working on his business degree, he learned to fly and spent his weekends exploring the Arizona desert and high country. It was there that he fell in love with backcountry travel and four-wheel drive vehicles, eventually leading him to Overland Journal and Expedition Portal. After several years of honing his skills in writing, photography, and off-road driving, Chris now works for the company full time as Expedition Portal's Senior Editor while living full-time on the road.
