To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Jeep Beach event held annually in Daytona Beach, Florida, both the Wrangler High Tide and Wrangler Jeep Beach special-edition models will return for the 2023 model year. “Jeep Beach week is one of the biggest Jeep vehicle events in America, bringing in more than 200,000 Jeep fans and 20,000 Jeep SUVs in 2022 alone,” according to Jim Morrison, senior vice president and head of the Jeep brand in North America.
The 2023 Jeep Wrangler High Tide is based on the Sport S model and is powered by the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 and eight-speed automatic transmission. Only 500 units of the Wrangler High Tide will be built as exclusive Jeep Beach models, featuring Jeep Beach decals, a swing gate plaque, embroidered leather seats, a shifter medallion, as well as standard body-color fenders.
As this vehicle is built for sand driving, there have been significant upgrades, including 35-inch BF Goodrich T/A KO2 tires and 17- by 8-inch bead-lock-capable wheels, while wheel flare extensions will keep some of that flying sand out of your well-tanned face. The vehicle features a 4.56 rear axle ratio, a 1.5-inch factory suspension lift with uniquely tuned shocks, hinge-gate reinforcement by Mopar, a jack spacer, and a tire relocation kit, also by Mopar. To further enhance the style and beach appeal, the Wrangler High Tide will be sold standard with a body-color hardtop, a “Sunrider” Fliptop, LED headlamps and fog lamps, rock rails, sand/slush mats, and High Tide hood decals.
The 2023 Jeep Wrangler High Tide is available to order now and is priced at $51,540, excluding destination charges.
Jeep will also build 500 High Tide vehicles as exclusive Jeep Beach models, featuring Jeep Beach hood decals, Mopar Katzkin leather seats embroidered with “Jeep Beach,” a Jeep Beach 20th anniversary shifter medallion, body-color fenders, and a Jeep Beach swing gate plaque. The 2023 Wrangler Jeep Beach model is also available to order and is priced at $54,040, exactly $2,500 more than the standard High Tide. If you have attended the Daytona event since 2002, this may well be the Jeep for you.
The 2023 Jeep Wrangler High Tide upgrade and Jeep Beach models will be available in six exterior colors, including black, bright white, hydro blue, sting-gray, high velocity, and punk’n.
