Jeep to Introduce the Ground Breaking All Electric Avenger at Paris Motor Show

In line with Jeep’s commitment that all vehicles sold in the European market will be 100% electric by 2030, the BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) Jeep Avenger will be introduced at the Paris Motor Show on October 17, 2022. The Avenger is the brand’s first-ever fully electric BEV, which boasts a range of 250 miles, a modern and technologically advanced interior, and plenty of space for cargo and occupants. The all-new Avenger will be revealed during a press conference hosted by Christian Meunier, the Jeep Brand CEO, at 2:00 pm CET on October 17th. Impressed customers will be able to make reservations for a launch edition of the new BEV Avenger immediately after the press conference.

“The new Jeep Avenger spearheads the introduction of a portfolio of all-new Jeep BEVs in Europe. It offers Jeep brand capability that is rightsized for the market, and during its introduction at the Paris Motor Show, we’ll showcase why it is a great all-electric Jeep brand alternative to current players in the segment. The Jeep Avenger is a milestone for our growth plans in key European markets, such as France, and on our path to becoming the leading zero-emission SUV brand in the world.”

said Christian Meunier, Jeep brand CEO.

The BEV Jeep Avenger will be produced at the Tychy plant in Poland and will join an “electrified” European lineup of vehicles, including the 4xe versions of the Jeep Wrangler, Renegade, and Compass, and will be joined in 2023 by the Grand Cherokee. It must be noted that there is a significant difference between an all-electric vehicle which is fully electric and an electrified vehicle which is a plug-in hybrid or a mild hybrid. Jeep will exclusively offer electrified vehicles to the major Continental European markets by the end of 2022. As stated above, Jeep has a comprehensive plan to become the world leading electric SUV brand, and the brand will introduce four all-electric SUVs in North America and Europe by 2025.

The Avenger features bold and attractive urban styling and “impressive ground clearance, break over and approach angles for its segment.” The exact specifications of the Avenger have been kept tightly under wraps, but all will be revealed at the Paris Motor Show; you can watch the launch on YouTube.
