Icon Vehicle Dynamics Pro Series Rear Bumper for Jeep Gladiator JT

Icon Vehicle Dynamics, led by head engineer and Score champion driver Dylan Evans, is a performance manufacturer in aftermarket suspension components for trucks, SUVs, and off-road suspension development. The company now “brings that same dedication to excellence in armor, bumpers, and off-road accessories under the Icon Impact product line.” The Impact bumper and armor offerings are designed for “ultimate strength and off-road performance as well as great looks and unmatched quality,” whilst being provided in two main product lines (Pro Series and Comp Series) to meet the needs of both recreational and professional drivers. Icon completes its full-wrap Pro series armor products for the Jeep Gladiator JT with the new Pro Series rear bumper.

The rear bumper joins the Pro Series front bumpers, sliders, and body armor to fully wrap the Gladiator JT end-to-end in Icon Impact Armor. The rear bumper promises to offer unparalleled strength, clearance, and functionality and is designed to work with the stock tow hitch and includes provisions for retaining the OE tow harness receptacle (backup sensor mounting provisions also included to allow for reinstall). The Pro Series bumpers are manufactured from 3/16-inch-thick plate steel, CNC laser cut, and precision brake-formed for an exact fit. Protection is not the only consideration with the inclusion of extreme heavy-duty shackle tabs that are CNC machined from 1-inch-thick plate steel and do not interfere with ground clearance. The bumper is engineered to maximise departure angle and integrates backup light buckets that accept 2.-inch round LED lamps (sold separately) for improved visibility in low light. The bumper is finished in a multi-stage black powder coat and includes Icon’s Impact Series Limited Lifetime Warranty.

If you’re considering fitting a bumper to your Gladiator, or any other vehicle, then you should purchase a product made specifically for your model or at least suitably rated. In other words, there are plenty of cheaper options on the market, but these are often for show, and when the going gets tough, they will ultimately be an impractical, yet heavy, ornament. Icon’s Pro Series bumpers undergo thorough research and development to ensure they protect your vehicle, retain departure angles and clearance whilst additionally providing rated heavy-duty shackle tabs for safe recovery. Thus, if you’re looking to protect your Jeep Gladiator JT on the trails and improve recovery options, then the Pro Series looks to be a great option.
