This Argentinian family of six has been traveling around the world for 22 years through five continents and over 102 countries in their beautiful 1928 Graham Paige. We can now say: ‘Dream accomplished!’ They’ve raised their four children—Pampa, Tehue, Paloma, and Wallaby—while traveling and funding their adventures by selling their book, Spark Your Dream. Relying on the kindness of strangers, the Zapps stayed with over 2,500 families along the way, learning more about local people, customs, and traditions from Canada to Africa, India to Ireland, and beyond. The couple currently run an overland camp spot near Buenos Aires, giving back to the community by providing road-weary travelers a place to stay, eat, and rest.

Ashley Giordano’s first foray into overland travel involved a 48,800-kilometer journey from Canada to Argentina with her husband, Richard, in their well-loved but antiquated 1990 Toyota Pickup. Currently cruising along the iconic Silk Road in a 2008 Toyota Tundra, her full-time navigator duties are rewarded with bowls of plov and lagman noodles, hikes in the Tian Shan, and countless cups of fragrant Tashkent tea.
