OutRise is a new smartphone app for iOS and Android phones that allows users to create detailed experiences and share them with others on in the OutRise community. The experiences can be anything from a hike around your favorite park to a week-long ski trip or even an overland adventure. The only limit to the experiences you can publish on the OutRise platform is your own imagination.
The OutRise app is not live yet but has a planned launch date of April 2021. To incentive and encourage early adopters to create experiences, OutRise has announced the ‘Life Scholarship Program’. Basically, it is a handful (we’re not sure how many they are offering) of financial awards ranging from $1000 to $5000 that you can use to fund any adventure you want. They describe it like this:
“It’s a financial award to grow, to challenge norms, and to make the world a better place. Whether it’s that cross-country road trip with mom or hiking, biking, and tasting your way through another country, the OutRise Life Scholarship will help you bring your dream to life.”
To have a chance at winning a Life Scholarship, you’ll need to participate in the OutRise community. Here’s how:
- Download the app and start creating experiences on OutRise.
- Share your experience on social media with the OutRise social share function.
- Make sure to use #thelifescholarship in your post.
- Is there a story behind your experience? If so, use your post to tell your story!
Every ‘experience’ created in the OutRise app between now and April 15th, 2021 counts as an entry in their Life Scholarship giveaway. Multiple winners will be selected throughout the contest period.
