Ural Gear Up Standard

Don’t miss the opportunity to purchase Overland Expo’s Ultimate Overland Motorcycle, an extensively modified 2024 Ural Gear Up Standard. This stunning build is being auctioned on Bring a Trailer , with all proceeds donated to the Overland Expo Foundation (a non-profit dedicated to protecting public lands and supporting the overland industry). This epic motorcycle looks like it was taken straight from an Indiana Jones movie and seamlessly blends classic charm with modern-day functionality. From the factory, the Ural Gear Up Standard is a great choice for off-grid travel thanks to its simple air-cooled 745 cc motor, optional 2WD, heavy-duty suspension, and up to 250 miles of range. The latest model also showcases several key improvements over its predecessor, as discussed on the company’s YouTube channel. It’s a great option for overlanding, as demonstrated by The Sidecar Guys’ epic Seattle to Los Angeles trip. Over 10 days, the duo traverses four states, 2,100 miles, on a mixture of paved and Backcountry Discovery Routes loaded with gear and don’t experience a single mechanical. Today’s example has been extensively uprated by Overland Expo with an array of top-tier aftermarket parts and accessories. If you’d like to learn more about their creation then reference the build series or watch a full video tour on the Overland Expo YouTube channel.

From the Seller:

“The Ultimate Overland Motorcycle Build comes together thanks to our incredible build partners. By outfitting the Ural with some of the best performing and most unique products on the market, we have the opportunity to take the bike to the next level of performance and comfort. Our Ural upfitting partner is Kalaber Creations. Not only is Kalaber a retailer of new and used Ural motorcycles, they provide services, repairs, and modifications. Their storage racks and crash protection are integral to the Ultimate Overland Motorcycle’s final form. The Ural’s on-demand two-wheel drive engages the rear driveshaft, sending power to both rear wheels and instilling confidence in even the most challenging circumstances. Moreover, the sidecar offers additional cargo space, allowing the rider to carry essential gear or bring along a friend on extended journeys. With the classic styling, a list of upgrades ranging from an electric starter to precision machining, and an all-new crankcase casting, Urals are more than modern enough to stand up to the rigors of adventure travel in the backcountry.”
