2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road w/ 2020 OVRLND Camper :: Featured Classified

Toyota Tacoma overland

The Tacoma is the most popular midsize truck on our forum by a considerable margin and for good reason. Publisher Scott Brady states, “The Tacoma has been the benchmark of compact overland trucks since its introduction, and the model represents 62 percent of all trucks reported in our reader surveys … [it’s] an exceptional vehicle, and one deserving of the Toyota legacy.” Subsequently, there’s no shortage of inspiring builds online from notable overland travelers such as Expedition Overland, Drew Simms, and Tacoma Lifestyle. The third-gen Tacoma is the best selling variant to date, selling 234,768 units in 2023 alone (despite the announcement of the much-anticipated Fourth-Gen Tacoma). It’s a vehicle depended on for work, recreation, and, indeed, epic overland adventures, and it has forged a reputation for absolute dependability and build quality. Cue today’s low mileage 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road (48,800 miles), which showcases premium upgrades, a $12,000 custom interior, and is topped with a fully equipped OVRLND pop-top camper. If you’re looking for a live-in turnkey rig to explore the world, look no further.

From the Seller:

I have been living full time in this setup for the better part of four years—three years in this truck and one in another Tacoma truck. The cabinetry is two years old, the camper four years old, and the truck three years old. I have loved it but have now retired and am getting a slightly larger truck and camper. This setup has been wonderful in lots of different weathers and locations. I can cook inside or outside and have used many kinds of small stoves. I camp with many 1- to 1.3- gallon jugs of water stored in the cab and use 1-2 gallons at a time in the camper. There are many D-rings at the ceiling edge for hanging sweaters and jackets for easy access. Other little touches are hooks on the side of upper cabinets for hanging mugs and bowls. Please write with any questions. If interested we can also talk on the phone.”
