1994 Toyota Pickup w/ Go Fast Camper V2 :: Classifieds

Toyota Pickup

Toyota trucks of any size, age, or spec are synonymous with bulletproof reliability and build quality and can be found bumbling around the world’s most inhospitable locations. Unsurprisingly, they’re a coveted platform for backcountry travel with recent offerings such as this 1996 HZJ75, 1998 Hilux Dual Cab, and 1998 T100 Xtracab SR5 w/ Super Pacific X1. Cue today’s 1994 Toyota Pickup (189,xxx miles), which has to be the best condition example we’ve showcased and is topped with a Go Fast Camper V2. This model has been a favorite with the Expedition Portal team since Senior Editor Ashley Giordano and her husband, Richard (2016 Overlanders of the Year), completed the Pan-American Highway in their 1990 Toyota Pickup. If you’d like to deep dive into the pros and cons of this platform for travel, then listen to Principles of Overlanding :: The Toyota Pickup on the Overland Journal podcast.

From the Seller:

The truck is in excellent condition with no rust on the body or frame, and the interior is in amazing condition. The truck was stock when I purchased it, but I have done a few upgrades to improve performance and drivability. All OEM parts unless noted otherwise. I have driven the truck daily and did a long road trip out West last summer with no issues. It drives very well, and the new steering and brake components provide confident handling. The Go Fast Camper was purchased new and installed in June of 2024 and has seen light use since then. The truck would make a great daily driver and light overlander or could serve as a blank canvas for a more ambitious build.”
