Toyota Land Cruiser 200 Series

Land Cruisers of all iterations are utilized by front-line agencies and NGOs globally, and the 200 Series is no exception. It’s unquestionably a pinnacle overland vehicle that has forged a reputation for bulletproof reliability, class-leading capability, and exceptional build quality. At first glance, the Land Cruiser is a handsome, well-equipped, and practical luxury 4WD, but under the surface, it’s so much more. Automotive journalist, racing driver, and former Top Gear Presenter Chris Harris states, “It’s built to withstand daily abuse in a way no other car I’ve ever seen is … more like a commercial vehicle when you look at the chassis, the engine, and the way it can be maintained. It’s a tank.” The Land Cruiser demonstrates that plush interior luxury and commercial-grade ruggedness are not mutually exclusive and that, together, they serve as the optimal combination for remote backcountry travel. Unsurprisingly, this venerable 4WD is a favorite for serious exploration with no shortage of expedition-ready builds from the likes of Expedition Overland, Hema Maps, and Paul May. Today’s meticulously maintained, low-mileage 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser (91,409 miles) is one of the nicest we’ve featured and showcases a plethora of top-tier components. If you’re in the market for a 4WD for travel, today’s offering is an overlanding paragon.

From the Seller:

This car has been all over the US and Canada, and is nothing short of exceptional. The frame is in excellent shape, with no concerning rust. I’m neurotic about my vehicles, so it has been very well taken care of. I recently replaced the water pump, thermometer, etc. Probably didn’t need to be done yet, but decided to do it just to be safe. The MaxTrax are not included, unless I get close to the asking price. I also have a box of spare parts, including extra sheep skin seat bottoms, wiper blades, oil and air filters, extra parts for the bumpers, a sixth matching wheel and tire, and too much more to list. I have the title in hand. I just had it detailed today, and won’t be driving it between now and when it sells. I will cry when I hand over the keys. I’m motivated to sell it quickly, so am willing to consider offers.”
