The FJ Cruiser is an automotive icon and a favorite on the forum, with recent offerings including this 2007, 2008, and 2013. Despite being over 20 years old, this legendary 4WD still looks futuristic and wouldn’t look out of place amongst Toyota’s current lineup. Further still, thanks to its Land Cruiser Prado body on frame architecture, durable 4WD system with A-Trac traction control, and rear and center locking differentials it continues to be a desirable backcountry rig. Cue today’s 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser (190,000 miles), which showcases extensive premium upgrades and has its own dedicated website. At $18,000 this rig is one heck of a deal considering the impressive build specs and that it’s almost half the price of comparable builds we’ve featured. If you’d like a better idea of how this platform performs in the backcountry then check out the adventures of Independence Overland, Outbound Intent, and Rogue Overland.
From the Seller:
“This is our Toyota FJ Cruiser, ‘The White Knight,’ which has been built for expedition adventure trips. This is our second Toyota FJ Cruiser, our first, the ‘Blue Burro’ was totaled in a roll over. Since we purchased our first FJ we have covered the South West United States, from California to Texas and all the states in between. We spend lots of time in the FJ Cruiser and utilize the modifications we have made so I consider myself a pretty good judge of what works and what does not.”
