2024 Ram 5500 AEV w/ Bliss Mobil :: Featured Classified

Ram 5500 AEV

Christmas has come early with this extraordinary expedition truck, which merges two esteemed industry leaders. The foundation for this incredible rig is a low-mileage 2024 Ram 5500 (25,859 miles), which has been overhauled from the ground up by the boffins at AEV (American Expedition Vehicles) for remote exploration. Subsequently, it showcases a plethora of top-tier parts and accessories that, in all regards, are engineered for the rigors of exploration. This pinnacle platform is topped by a Bliss Mobil habitation box, which delivers exceptional build quality and amenities and enjoys unparalleled support from the company and its community. The 13-foot box has a dry weight of 1,800 kilograms (may vary depending on customer options), thanks to an aluminium frame and 60-millimeter composite walls with a PET core. The interior is more akin to a luxury studio apartment than a vehicle with marine-grade quality and huge amenities that include four-season climate control, 800 amp hours of lithium, 123 gallons of water, Starlink, and much more. At $460,000, this is a premium vehicle, but it’s a fraction of what you’d spend for an off-the-shelf alternative (for example, an EarthRoamer LTx starts at $825,000). Finally, it was meticulously curated by seasoned international overlanders Richard and Diane (follow their adventures on Instagram), which means you can rest assured that this turnkey vehicle is around the world ready.

Ram 5500 From the Seller:

After living for 32 years in America, we have decided to move back to Europe. When we sold our GXV Patagonia, we returned to the drawing board and reviewed all truck options in America, Europe, and even Australia. Bliss Mobil consistently met our needs. The habitation box provides huge amenities with 800 amp hours of lithium batteries combined with dual alternators that provide 1,000 watts while driving—you won’t run out of power. The redundant heating systems are a unique feature of the Bliss Mobil. Main heating is via Webasto diesel heat, backed up by the air-conditioning system that can heat as well. Then, two additional DC heaters allow for low-noise heating at night. The entire Bliss is controlled from a tablet or your phone that runs Loxone (a home management system). Bliss Mobil also installs a global SIM that’s only accessible to Bliss Support for continuous monitoring and troubleshooting. Bamboo is utilised throughout the Bliss Mobil as it’s resistant to humidity warping. But since Bliss is a tailored design concept, it’s easy to replace anything from them. The unit comes with a spare parts kit and a full tool kit. We love the Bliss concept and close-knit community, and can’t wait to continue our journey in our new 16-foot Bliss Mobil mounted on a Mercedes Arocs.
