The shift to remote jobs is accelerating, and there are more opportunities than ever to work flexible hours anywhere in the world. As a result, travel is not simply limited to weekends and holidays but can be managed around a working week. As a result, more people than ever are transitioning to living and working on the road full-time. However, to do this effectively you require a suitable vehicle with enough payload and amenities to support your work/life balance, and we’ve seen a shift from mid- to full-size platforms as discussed in our article, “Full Size Revolution.” Publisher Scott Brady states: “Big trucks are more capable than ever before, and they have the payload to haul more than a few passengers and a basket of groceries.” Ram trucks have been at the forefront of this movement with Scott asserting: “While the Power Wagon gets all the off-road attention, the 2500 and 3500s have quietly overtaken the #1 seat in the full-size overland segment. With the combination of solid axles, the Cummins motor, and aftermarket support of companies like AEV, the Ram has consistently ranked as the most popular big truck for our audience.” Today’s turnkey 2014 Ram 3500 (194,xxx miles) is the perfect base for a camper or habitation box and showcases the desirable Cummins diesel and a plethora of premium modifications. In addition, it’s offered with a custom overland trailer that’s equipped with all you need for extended periods off-grid. From the Seller:

My wife and I just got back from a trip to Colorado with this setup and it all functioned perfectly. I’d love to sell the truck and trailer as a pair because they work together so nicely. The only reason we are getting rid of this rig is because we decided we want to get a Sprinter/Revel. I have done all of the work on this rig myself, including installing the Carli suspension about 50,000 miles ago. If no one has ever ridden in one of these trucks with a Carli suspension and on 37s, it is a totally new experience. These trucks definitely do not ride like a toner anymore! It is a very comfortable ride, and we do not hesitate to drive this rig on long trips.
