2024 Ram 3500 w/ Bliss Mobil 8 Foot Lifting Top :: Featured Classified

Ram 3500

I see thousands of dialed overland vehicles working for the Overland Collective, and the most desirable tend to exist in something of a “Goldilocks zone.” In other words, they’re built with intention and real-world travel experience and are not excessive in any one area, but instead deliver the essentials for domestic and international travel. To this end, cue today’s 2024 Ram 3500 (17,xxx miles – still in use), which showcases premium upgrades and is topped with a Bliss Mobil habitation cell. This rig is outstanding and built by seasoned international travelers and community members who understand the real-world necessities of adventure. The rig has just returned from a tour of Europe and Africa without issue, and is available today with no lead time. At its foundation is a Ram heavy-duty truck (the most popular full-size with our readers and for good reason, read more here), which has been optimized for backcountry exploration with the Bliss Mobil box. The box in question (costs ~$160,000), is the 8-foot Lifting Roof (High-bed) model, which, despite its modest exterior, showcases a fully equipped four-season living space with bathroom and all the amenities you could ever need. Bliss Mobil is an industry-leading company delivering exceptional build quality with proprietary systems that enable company and community support anywhere in the world. At $165,000, this package represents amazing value and is turnkey ready for adventure.

Ram 3500 From the Seller:

We have loved this vehicle, and it has comfortably taken us through many countries in Europe and Africa, from sub-zero temperatures in Switzerland to smoking hot nights in the Kalahari. Bliss Mobil has taken a small camper and incorporated amenities that rival the larger ‘full-size’ units while still being nimble, fitting anywhere, off-road capable, and feeling like a home. We finished our last trip in Mombasa, Kenya, shipping it back to Seattle with a stopover in the Netherlands to visit Bliss Mobil for a service to ensure everything is ready for the new owner. I have traveled the world for a very long time, from motorbikes to Land Cruisers and everything in between. This vehicle was purposefully built and thoughtfully chosen. We specified the 6.4-liter Hemi to avoid modern diesel ‘issues’ while traveling in countries without ULSD and Adblue. We ordered a 60-inch cab chassis as it’s the only way to get the 52-gallon tank from Ram on a petrol, which is needed to have real-world range. We kept everything weight-focused and well below GVW to avoid the need for a dual rear wheel and then a conversion to military tires. By using a standard single-rear-wheel truck with off-the-shelf tires, there are more options, and it avoids some of the hassles of balancing, shaving, trueing, dished-in/out wheels, etc. The unique part of this camper is the hard-side lifting roof, which provides quietness and insulation when open and low height and dimensions when closed. It also boasts huge fresh and graywater capacities along with 12-volt air-conditioning, lithium batteries, a diesel heater, boiler, and much more.”

The 3500 is fitted with a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 that produces 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque (range provided via a 52-gallon fuel tank). A powerful motor is matched with impressive capability thanks to a body-on-frame architecture, 4WD, high and low range, solid axles, an AEV snorkel, a lifted and uprated suspension, armor, and a rear limited-slip differential. These rugged credentials are balanced with driver comforts that include:
