The Sprinter is a commercial icon and is depended on globally for goods and services. It’s a vehicle synonymous with reliability and build quality, with any iteration capable of a half-million-mile service life and built to withstand the rigors of hard daily use. It was for these reasons and more that it was adopted by both the vanlife and overland communities, and today has become one of the most desirable travel vehicles. The 4WD (technically AWD) variant is especially popular for around-the-world exploration and enjoys access to almost unparalleled aftermarket support. Consequently, there’s a huge catalog of parts, accessories, and services available to transform this practical work van into a legitimate go anywhere expedition rig. Further still, it enjoys access to Mercedes’ fabled international support network and huge community support, which ensures that wherever you are in the world, you can rest assured that assistance is generally close to hand. Cue today’s meticulously maintained, one-owner 2018 Mercedes Sprinter 4×4 Sportsmobile (143,000 miles), which boasts premium modifications and a fully equipped camper interior. This stunning example was built in 2019 by industry leader Sportsmobile (Fresno, California) and has served as a beloved family adventure rig ever since. The LWB 4×4 is something of a rarity, balancing interior living space and amenities synonymous with bigger expedition trucks with the drivability and affordable running costs of a van. Consequently, today’s build will comfortably sleep four (plus dogs) and has a generous payload and storage for all the supplies and outdoor equipment you could possibly need. At $67,500, it represents an impressive value when you consider that new it would’ve set you back the best part of $150,000, and that it’s turnkey-ready today for your next adventure with no lead time.

From the Seller:
“This 2018 (2019 build) Sportsmobile 4×4 Sprinter, built in Fresno, is perfect for a family of 4 (plus dogs) for traveling and exploring. Plenty of gear storage for all seasons. I am the original owner (with full maintenance records), and this van was custom-built for my family and our adventures. We used this van as our basecamp for countless ski trips to Lake Tahoe, national park visits, and beyond; I’m really excited for it to find a new owner who will enjoy it as much as we have. We built this van to make it easy to get out and go, especially for weekend ski trips with our family of four. Early mornings heading to Tahoe, having a warm place to regroup during the day, and not worrying about lodging made those trips effortless. In the summer, it turned into our base camp for national parks and longer road trips, giving us the flexibility to move at our own pace and stay wherever we wanted. Over the years, it’s taken us on countless weekends to explore the West, the mountains, the coastlines, and everything in between, always with our dog along for the ride. It’s been a super reliable, comfortable setup that just works, whether it’s a quick overnight or a longer adventure. It’s hard to let it go, but we’re excited for someone else to get the same kind of adventures and memories out of it.”
