2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport :: Classifieds

Jeep Wrangler

I’m currently navigating trails in Croatia in my Toyota Troopy, and it’s the first time I’m overlanding in a vehicle that was intended for that purpose from the factory. In the past, I’ve modified my vehicles to meet my adventure requirements, but soon realised that I could’ve spent half the money and gotten twice the return by investing in a better suited platform from the get go. With this in mind, the Wrangler is engineered from the ground up to excel when the tarmac ends, and is widely considered a pinnacle overland platform. Highlights include a body on frame architecture, a heavy duty 4WD system, solid axles, armor, and intelligent onboard assists. It’s for these reasons and more that it’s a favorite on the Expedition Portal forum with recent offerings including this 2014 w/ Ursa Minor camper, 2015 Rubicon, and 2021 Custom Camper. Cue today’s 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport, which boasts premium modifications and is topped with an Inspired Overland roof top tent.

Wrangler overland From the Seller:

This has been the best car I’ve ever owned. It’s outfitted for adventure with a rooftop tent, stove, fridge, and more – ready to head off-grid at a moment’s notice. I just don’t have time for trips anymore, and it’s too good a setup to sit idle. This was purchased for $18,500 last year from Expedition Portal. The Blue Book on this Jeep is $15,000, but the previous owner added $15,000 in upgrades and I added $6,000 in part replacement and maintenance, which makes this a great buy.”
