2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon w/ Ursa Minor :: Classifieds

Jeep Wrangler with Ursa Minor

The Jeep Wrangler mated with the Ursa Minor pop-top is micro-camper perfection. If you’d like a better idea of how this configuration can be outfitted for travel then check out the inspiring builds from Blue Ridge Overland Gear, Trails Offroad, and Mainline Overland. Building an overland rig is a balance between comfort and capability, which is why the Ursa Minor is such a great option. Sure, there is no shortage of innovative rooftop tents on the market but you simply can’t beat the convenience of popping the roof and sleeping inside your rig. In fact, this camper even allows you to stand up inside the Wrangler as discussed on the You, Me, and the Parks blog. Further still, thanks to the relatively lightweight nature of this setup you can still utilize the Jeep’s fabled capability and access remote locations that most campers could only dream of. Still not convinced? Then check out Dan Grec’s (The Road Chose Me) 3-year (54,000 miles) expedition around Africa in a 2011 Jeep Wrangler with an Ursa Minor camper. Today’s 2017 Rubicon has covered just 58,000 miles and features premium AEV upgrades and an Ursa Minor camper.
