The Wrangler is a legendary platform for overlanding and a favorite on our forum. We’ve recently featured a number of well-executed rigs on the forum, including this 2016 Unlimited Sport, a 2015 expedition build, and a 2018 Rubicon AEV camper. The Wrangler’s capability is nothing short of extraordinary, and there’s no shortage of field tests online from the likes of TrailRecon, TFLoffroad, and Aussie Four Wheelers. In addition, despite the Wrangler’s modest dimensions, it can be transformed into an effective compact camper, as demonstrated by builds from Joshav, Mainline Overland, and Down2Mob Overland. If you’d like a better idea of how the Jeep performs as a round-the-world travel companion, then I highly recommend viewing Dan Grec’s website, The Road Chose Me, and the 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon he used to complete 54,000 miles around Africa. Today’s 2012 offering has covered just 76,xxx-miles and features premium modifications and is topped with a Ursa Minor J30.
From the Seller:
“There are a few minor dings that are to be expected for a 2012 that goes out and has fun. The paint protective film on the hood and fenders is a big help. The Ursa Minor also is in good shape but does have minor wear and tear on the fabric, which was like that when we purchased it. No stains or rips in the seats. The sound system is amazing, but the left front speaker is a little wonky right now as you have to turn the volume to about 8 to get it to kick on then it’s good to go. I believe it’s just a loose wire, but I’m not an audiophile, nor have had the time to look at it since it doesn’t bother me.”
