The first time I was made aware of the Isuzu NPR 4×4 was during a conversation with Trucking Oz (aka Ori and Lindsey) regarding their choice of vehicle for overlanding Australia. Ori is a very experienced overlander with over 50 builds under his belt and subsequently has a huge wealth of knowledge regarding 4WDs. In regard to his Mitsubishi Canter he stated: “I’d say the Isuzu NPR alternative is a slightly better truck overall.” This is not a unique view, and around the same time, the team at EarthCruiser made the decision to transition from their faithful Mitsubishi Fuso platform to the NPR. These vehicles are not cheap and subsequent examples on our forum are not commonplace. Previous examples include this $298,000 2018 Crew Cab, a $135,000 2015 expedition camper, and a $125,000 2007. Today’s 2009 offering, therefore, represents excellent value at just $42,000 and would make the perfect blank canvas for a full-time rolling home. If you’d like a better idea of how the NPR can be outfitted for travel then check out the inspiring builds from Friendship Herbals Travels AU and Nowhere Bound Touring.
From the Seller:
“I am selling a 2009 Isuzu NPR-HD. This truck was professionally converted to 4WD by Ridgerock in Florida and has less than 500 miles on the build. All systems are functional, no mechanical problems, and no rust.”
