2007 EarthRoamer XV-LT #48 :: Featured Classified

Earthroamer

Since its inception in 1998, EarthRoamer has redefined luxury overlanding and is widely considered the benchmark for no-expense-spared expedition vehicles. These spectacular travel rigs demonstrate that you don’t have to sacrifice home comforts to explore the world. I love traveling with just the essentials, but it’s not ideal when traveling long-term or living on the road. It’s easy to become starry-eyed about the good ole days when we camped with nothing more than a sleeping bag and a camp stove, but based on experience, this approach is fatiguing over time. It’s important to have a setup that enables you to live and work comfortably and efficiently, and to this end, the EarthRoamer is practically unmatched. The XV-LT enables its owners to traverse challenging terrain in climate-controlled comfort and provides generous amenities and redundancy for self-sufficient, off-grid camping. Cue today’s meticulously maintained 2007 EarthRoamer XV-LT #48, which has aged like a fine wine and has been extensively upgraded since leaving the showroom. It’s also worth noting that the engine was replaced by Ford at 55,800 miles and “bulletproofed” (see original listing for details) for complete peace of mind. At $190,000, it represents an impressive value when you consider the latest variant has a base price of $730,000. If you’re looking for a legitimate all-season rolling home for adventures at home or abroad, look no further.

From the Seller:

This is a very well-maintained EarthRoamer in excellent condition. We had the best intentions and hoped to fully utilize this rig’s capability, but our current circumstances are such that we’ve decided to move on to something more traditional. Over two to three years, we researched and looked at a number of overland rigs, but with the EarthRoamer’s reputation for quality and off-road capability, we continued our search for a well-maintained EarthRoamer that was within the budget for first-time overlanders. We finally found ER48 and purchased it privately from the 2nd owner in May 2022, with importation into Canada in June 2022. This truck is an exceptional buy for anyone entering the overland market, especially when compared to newer models. Everything works—both the truck chassis and the camper itself. We’ve made thoughtful improvements and necessary repairs along with regular maintenance. No one believes us when we say it’s a 2007 model as it’s a great-looking rig inside and out.”
