2021 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison w/ RSI Smart Cap :: Classifieds

Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison

The Chevrolet Colorado is a popular choice on our forum. Recent offerings include this 2017 w/ Vagabond Drifter, 2018 ZR2 w/ Go Fast Campers V2, and 2019 w/ Alu-Cab Canopy camper. It’s a pinnacle choice for overlanding and was subsequently awarded Editor’s Choice in our Mid-Size Truck of the Year, with Publisher Scott Brady stating, “Just a list of its features makes it the ‘HiLux’ we always wanted, only better. It is available with a small-displacement turbo-diesel, front and rear locking differentials, a winch-ready steel front bumper, steel rear bumper with 1/4 panel protection, full-length rock sliders, class-leading suspension, and scores second on J.D. Power’s reliability ranking.” It was for these reasons and more that it was chosen as an Overland Journal project vehicle by contributor Sinuhe Xavier and was later used as a chase truck for the Mexican 1000. Unsurprisingly, there’s no shortage of inspiring adventure-equipped Colorados online with epic builds from CBI Offroad Fab, Nick Page, and Five Angels Outdoor. Cue today’s 2021 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison (63,000 miles) showcasing premium aftermarket upgrades and topped with an RSI Smart Cap. From the Seller:

This has been a fantastic truck—reliable, comfortable, and very capable. It’s been all over the Desert Southwest, from Big Bend to Northern New Mexico and Arizona. All services were completed per Chevy’s schedule, including the 50,000 drivetrain service. The rig is in immaculate condition, never wrecked, well-maintained, and is 100 percent ready to take you anywhere.”

The Bison is fitted with a 3.6-liter motor that, in stock configuration, delivers 308 horsepower, 275 pound-feet of torque, and returns 16/18 mpg (city/highway). The V6 provides a trophy truck-esque driving experience and propels the Chevy from 0 to 60 mph in under seven seconds. Exciting on-road performance is mated with class-leading all-terrain capability thanks to 4WD, low range, front and rear lockers, rock sliders, skid plates, a snorkel, Multimatic Dynamic Suspension Spool Valve shocks, a 2-inch lift, and intelligent on-board systems such as hill descent control. Inside, these rugged credentials are balanced with a luxurious interior with driver comforts that include:
