There are few brands within the industry with the same reputation for excellence as Tiger Adventure Vehicles. Established in 1986, the company has spent almost four decades engineering adventure-ready RVs and today creates some of the most coveted 4WD campers on the market. The all-in-one construction is underpinned by a choice of proven heavy-duty, full-size, 4WD chassis and adopts a robust engineered permanent camper mount system with a convenient pass-through between the cab and living space. Inside, these campers are carefully considered to provide optimal four-season comfort and functionality within a relatively modest external footprint. Unsurprisingly, whenever one of these vehicles is listed on our forum, it creates quite a buzz, and today’s Tiger Bengal is no exception. Underpinned by a well-maintained 2013 Chevrolet 3500 HD (99,500 miles), it showcases a plethora of desirable backcountry features and a well-appointed camper interior. At $79,500, this rig represents excellent value when you consider that new, it would’ve set you back approximately $150,000. Further still, it’s a fraction of the cost of comparable offerings from the likes of Nimbl, EarthRoamer, and Global Expedition Vehicles. This particular Bengal will be available to view at Overland Expo SoCal in Costa Mesa this weekend (March 15-16), so if you’d like to organize a viewing, contact the seller information provided below. If you’re in the market for a turnkey live-in overland rig for adventures at home and abroad, then look no further.

From the Seller:

When searching van and truck camper setups several years ago, I stumbled across Provan/Tiger. I quickly realized it ticked all the boxes that I was looking for at the time: a short wheelbase (19.5 feet bumper to bumper), 4WD, a bathroom, separate bed and couch, a good heater (I spend lots of time snowboarding), and storage/racks to bring all the toys. Then, I quickly realized how hard they were to track down, especially with a regular cab truck and gas motor. It took a year, but I finally found this example and have loved setting it up for my usage over the last 5 years. It has been an amazing adventure vehicle, and it has taken me all over the country, from California to Maine and everywhere in between. All of the little common Tiger issues have been addressed (e.g., air circulation to water lines under cabinet and shower, insulating floor, Froli bed system, etc). I have all the manuals and paperwork from Tiger. The previous owner bought it from Tiger directly; it was then sent to the company for a refresh and re-certification (they only owned it for a year when I bought it from them).”
