2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JLU w/ Xtreme Recon Package :: Featured Classified

Jeep Wrangler Xtreme Recon Package

The Jeep Wrangler is a pinnacle overland platform and a favorite with the overlanding community. In stock configuration, it can be driven from the dealership and around the world and is one of the few 4WDs that remains function-forward. For those looking to tackle the toughest backcountry routes, Jeep’s Rubicon package is a great option and upfits the model with the Rock-Trac 4WD system, Tru-Lok front and rear lockers, Dana 44 solid axles, an electronic front sway-bar disconnect, uprated and lifted suspension, intelligent assists, and more. It’s a formidable package, which is well suited to the most ambitious trips (as demonstrated by the adventures of Dan Grec a.k.a The Road Chose Me). However, for those looking for the ultimate Wrangler, the Xtreme Recon Package elevates the Rubicon further. This ~$4,000 option adds beadlock-capable wheels with 35-inch tires, uniquely tuned/lifted suspension, 4.56:1 axle gearing, a wheel-flare extension, and other enhancements. Cue today’s meticulously maintained, one-owner 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JLU (64,000 miles), which boasts the Xtreme Recon Package, premium aftermarket modifications, and a 100,000 mile extended warranty. At $35,000, this package represents impressive value when you consider that this specification from the dealership would’ve set you back over $60,000 before accounting for the money invested in the various upgrades. However, the value proposition goes even further because this turnkey rig is an investment in experiences and actually doing the thing rather than sitting endlessly in garages building a rig that robs the disposable cash required to travel (ask me how I know). So, if you’re serious about getting out there and seeing the world, this vehicle would serve as a fantastic option.

Jeep Wrangler Xtreme Recon PackageFrom the Seller:

“I bought ‘Sarge’ in October 2021, primarily for overlanding and getting around in the snow here in Park City, Utah. It has been amazing at both. Over the years, Sarge has taken me on several Backcountry Discovery Routes and plenty of other adventures, and has never let me down. I built it to be capable and dependable, but also comfortable enough to enjoy spending time in it. As much as I love the Jeep, it’s time—according to my girlfriend, anyway—to move toward more of a glamping experience (think truck camper). Sarge has been well cared for throughout my ownership, and in addition to all regularly scheduled maintenance, it just received a full interior and exterior detail on 9/23/26. This garage-kept and well-maintained 2021 JLU has 64,000+ miles and Jeep’s Xtreme Recon package. It’s a very capable package right from the factory and has been an excellent platform for building an even more capable overland rig. In 2026, Sarge received new tires, shocks, and a radiator. All service and installation work has been performed by Karl Malone Chrysler Jeep in Heber City, Utah. There are also a few additional upgrades and details throughout the rig that make it a very capable and thoughtfully built overland vehicle.”
