President Lincoln probably never dreamed that a slip of greenish-cotton paper displaying his distinguished profile could land a new Jeep JK in his barn. In February, the California Association of 4WD Clubs (CA4WDC) will be handing over the keys of a full-decked 2013 Jeep JK Wrangler to a lucky winner…and tickets are just five bucks.
This year’s Jeep was given a total makeover by Poison Spyder Customs, who fitted it with RockBrawler bumpers and a slew of custom gear. The JK sits on a Rock Krawler long-arm suspension, Fox Racing shocks, BFGoodrich Krawler T/As, and TrailReady beadlocks. Underneath are Currie RockJock 44 axles fitted with ARB lockers and Motive Gear chromoly shafts. It also has an Advance Adapters Atlas II transfer case, J.E. Reel drivelines, PSC hydraulic assist, and a Synergy skid plate system. Performance enhancements include Magnaflow exhaust and AEV heat reduction hood. Rounding off the package is a Warn 8000 Zeon winch, Factor 55 ProLink, Hi-Lift jack, ARB twin compressor, and an array of lights from Rigid Industries.
The winning ticket will be drawn February 23, 2014 at the CA4WDC convention in Visalia, CA (you need not be present to win). Net proceeds go directly towards the fight to keep our public lands open. To order tickets go to cal4wheel.com
