Alberta Outdoor Adventure Expo Debuts This Fall

If you’re heading to Jasper National Park this fall, you might want to check out the Alberta Outdoor Adventure Expo. The inaugural event will make its debut from September 3 to 6, 2021, at the Medicine Lodge Rodeo grounds near Hinton, Alberta—a convenient hour-long drive from the town of Jasper.

The event schedule includes catch and release fishing, paddle boarding, vehicle recovery courses, basic winching courses, bike packing tips, local trail rides, and 4WD training by ARC Off-Road. Robert Edwards from the hit television series Alone will offer a bushcrafting class, and “Mantracker” Terry Grant will attend a meet-and-greet on Sunday morning.

Full weekend camping passes go for $150 per vehicle, while day passes are $20 per person. Both are available for purchase online or at the event entrance. For more about the Alberta Outdoor Adventure Expo, including the full schedule of events and location, head to their website at aoaexpo.com.

On the zig-zag route south, she hiked craggy peaks in the Andes, discovered diverse cultures in 15 different countries, and filled her tummy with spicy ceviche, Baja fish tacos, and Argentinian Malbec.
