Have you ever dreamed of being a world-class photographer? Maybe you long to start your own overland tour company, run a dive shop in Tahiti, or become a renowned travel writer. Whatever your dream job is, prAna wants to make it a reality by giving you a $100,000 salary to quit your day job and follow your passion. No joke, no gimmicks, they will pay the winner four quarterly sums of $25,000, and the application process couldn’t be easier.
How to Win
All you have to do is submit a 1-3 minute video that briefly details your current job, and what your ultimate dream job would be. They note that they are looking for an inspirational and original story, so you should let your personality shine. Don’t try to mimic others; just be yourself and have fun with it! “When possible, show us your passion in action. If you’re an aspiring filmmaker, include an example of your work; if your dream is to be a pastry chef, show us your dishes.”
All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of prAna’s representatives who will make a selection based on the contestant’s “passion, boldness, and originality.” There is just one catch. The point of this contest is to give you the confidence to pursue your dream job, so if you are selected as the winner you will need to quit your day job. You’ll also need to share a few updates of your progress along the way—totally worth it!
Contestants must be 21 years or older to enter, legal residents of the United States, and enter their video between 8/15/19 – 9/16/19.
