BDR and AMA Partnership Update
BDR (Backcountry Discovery Routes) and AMA (American Motorcyclist Association) have signed a memorandum to expand advocacy, responsible recreation, rider education, and community engagement. BDR contributes almost two decades of route development, a huge community of adventure riders, and a platform built on route promotion, guides, and documentary films, while AMA provides a national advocacy infrastructure, government relations expertise, a network of independent clubs and promoters, and more. BDR will support AMA advocacy work, invite the organization to its events, and encourage its riders to join the AMA. In return, AMA will promote BDR routes and encourage its audience to participate in volunteer efforts and route stewardship.
