2017 Toyota Tundra w/ 2016 Moby 1 XTR Trailer :: Featured Classified

Toyota Tundra

One cannot underestimate the time, effort, and money invested in this overlanding package. At its heart is a low-mileage, one-owner 2017 Toyota Tundra 4×4 (39,823 miles), which was optioned with the Limited Premium package and TRD Off Road package. The truck was then reimagined from the ground up with a plethora of top-tier aftermarket parts and accessories to further enhance it for exploration. From the factory, the Tundra is an excellent travel companion, as discussed on the Overland Journal Podcast and demonstrated by the international adventures of Desk to Glory, and today’s second-gen has to be the most dialed example we’ve featured. This pinnacle overland platform is mated to a 2016 Moby 1 XTR trailer (starting price $15,500), which has since been extensively uprated (see original listing for full details). A significant amount of time has been invested in modifying the trailer to not only be optimal for backcountry trips but also to function seamlessly in conjunction with the Tundra. The result is an exceptionally versatile package that can be separated for daily driving and short weekend adventures or combined for longer expeditions.

Expedition truck for saleFrom the Seller:

If you are looking for a turn-key ready, base-camp adventure combination, this Tundra and Moby 1 XTR may be your solution. This setup has served us for nine years, and we’re the original owners of both. We built this system to act as a base camp for remote mountain biking, hiking, and backpacking. From the deserts of Utah and California to the forests of the Olympic Peninsula and the Canadian Rockies, this package has worked very well. The full kitchen setup, with awning protection, provides comfortable outdoor cooking, and the onboard amenities and extra storage areas allow for extended backcountry travel for 6-10 days. We built the system to accommodate the same wheel and tire combination across all three axles, so the spare tires fit any location. We have clean titles for both vehicles. The truck and trailer have been regularly serviced and maintained. If a buyer is interested in a pre-purchase inspection, I am happy to drive the vehicles to a local Boise garage of your choosing.”
