2021 Nimbl Evolution :: Featured Classified

Nimbl Evolution

It’s rare that a Nimbl overland vehicle is listed for sale, but when one becomes available, it inevitably receives a lot of attention. Based in Colfax, California, the company has built a reputation for excellence, with the Evolution truck camper being their premier offering. The team here at Expedition Portal and Overland Journal know this platform well and have enjoyed extensive hands-on experience. Our 4WD Senior Editor and world traveler Graeme Bell field tested the Evolution on Donner Pass, California, back in 2022 and concluded: “The power and handling of the vehicle are perfectly suited to hard-driving, and the build of the camper inspires confidence no matter the climate.” This is a sentiment shared by our Chairman and Publisher, Scott Brady, on the Expedition Portal YouTube channel after testing the Nimbl in the Black Rock Desert of Northern Nevada. He explained: “The overall stability gives me a lot of confidence to explore deeper into the backcountry. It’s a gift for travelers to have a vehicle like this that provides the ability to escape. As Nimbl says, ‘freedom to roam.’”

The Nimbl Evolution is a complete overlanding package and finds a sweet spot between highway comfort, all-terrain capability, and four-season liveability. The attention to detail is outstanding, which is hardly surprising considering their Chief Designer, Steve Kozloff, previously built Arctic Expedition yachts. Today is a unique opportunity to purchase a low-mileage (32,000 miles) 2021 Nimbl Evolution camper underpinned by a 2021 Ford F-350 Super Duty 4×4 Crew Cab with the Platinum Trim Package. In addition, this turnkey vehicle includes a 3-year/36,000-miles bumper-to-bumper warranty, 5-year/60,000-miles powertrain warranty, 5-year/60,000-miles roadside assist, and a 7-year/100,000-mile extended warranty. If you’re in the market for an expedition-ready rolling home, then look no further.

From the Seller:

The Nimbl is an exceptional overland vehicle. With a low overall height and excellent ground clearance, you can get in tight places that challenge big rigs. The Nimbl is set up for off-grid living with a 75-gallon freshwater tank and loads of solar power. The heating and hot water systems are more than capable of winter camping. This unit has been used in Colorado at -8˚F for several days. The Ford F-350 truck is a breeze to drive and creature comforts are plenty. Always garaged when not in use. I will have the unit at the Overland Expo in August if folks want to check it out in person. Please email or call with any questions.”
