2021 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 w/ Alu-Cab Canopy Camper :: Classifieds

Chevrolet Colorado ZR2

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of the Colorado; it’s not just one of the best-looking trucks in the segment but also one of the most capable. It’s a favorite with the Expedition Portal team and was awarded Mid-size Truck of the Year by Scott Brady, who stated, “Just a list of its features makes it the ‘Hilux’ we always wanted, only better … Joe Bacal, our resident vehicle dynamics evaluator, said of the Bison, ‘it is my job to pick this truck apart, but I am struggling. It hit all of the marks.’” Unsurprisingly, this platform is a desirable platform on our forum with recent offerings that include this 2018 ZR2, a 2020 ZR2 Bison with an Alu-Cab Canopy camper, and a 2017 ZR2 with a Vagabond Drifter. However, today’s supercharged, one-owner, low-mileage (26,000 miles) 2021 Colorado ZR2 has to be one of the nicest to date, features premium modifications, and is topped with a fully equipped Alu-Cab Canopy camper.

2021 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2

The ZR2 is fitted with a V6 engine that, in stock form, delivers 308 horsepower, 275 pound-feet of torque, and returns 16/18 mpg (city/highway). It’s worth noting that today’s offering has been uprated with an Edelbrock supercharger that boosts performance by 24 percent up to 345 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque. A powerful motor ensures on-road performance is exhilarating with an impressive sub-seven-second sprint from 0 to 60 mph. On the trail, the Chevy offers class-leading capability thanks to 4WD, low range, front and rear locking differentials, skid plates, a 2-inch lift, and intelligent on-board systems such as Hill Descent Control. Inside, the ZR2 is well-equipped with driver comforts that include:

  • Heated and powered leather seats
  • Cruise control
  • Rearview camera
  • Air-conditioning
  • Infotainment system with navigation, 8-inch screen
