Goal Zero continues to add larger and more technologically capable power stations to its extensive Yeti lineup. Its latest is the Yeti Pro 4000, boasting a brawny 3,600 watts of continuous power and up to 7,200 watts in surge capacity. With the optional Tank Pro LiFePO4 expansion battery packs, 20,000 watt-hours of capacity is possible. Goal Zero also claims a 4000-cycle lifespan, meaning the Yeti Pro 4000 could last over a decade with daily use.
Through the Goal Zero Haven Home ecosystem or Escape Vehicle integration system, this big Yeti provides automatic power switching when primary power goes down so that the owner’s most needed circuits are supplied with current immediately in the event of an outage or other emergency. An optional wheeled cart makes it easier to shift around its 115-pound bulk, a feature that allows you to take advantage of its solar inputs (up to 3,000 watts). Goal Zero also says with 1,800 watts of AC charging input, its newest power stations charge up to three times faster than previous generation models.
