New JPP 2-inch Lift with Bilstein Shocks for Current Wrangler and Gladiator Models
Jeep Performance Parts and Mopar announced an upgraded 2-inch lift kit featuring Bilstein shocks for the Wrangler and Gladiator. The lift is designed to elevate all-terrain capability and incorporates specially tuned monotube shocks with remote reservoirs. The setup promises consistent, fade-free performance in all conditions, and a self-adjusting, deflective-disc valve that “reacts instantly to surface changes, giving the driver maximum control.” The kit showcases four springs, four Bilstein shocks with remote reservoirs, front and rear stabilizer links, front lower control arms, bump stops, assorted fasteners, and the JPP badge. I’ve owned the iconic UltaMid 2 tent for many years, and it’s by far the best shelter I own, so I was very excited to hear about the new solo variant. The tent is constructed using ultralight, durable, and waterproof made-in-the-USA Dyneema composite fabrics and weighs less than 17.4 ounces. Necessity is the mother of invention, which is why Hard Impact Designs has engineered quick-release mounts for rooftop tents. Pelican announces the 9000 Light which is a rugged light combined with built-in storage for small essentials such as medical supplies, phones, SD cards, etc. Despite weighing just 21.6 ounces (with batteries), it produces 300 lumens of light and runs for up to 75 hours. The 9000 has a IP67 water, dirt, and dust rating, carabiner ring and clip, and incorporates a flashing mode that can be utilized as a safety beacon (ideal for roadside breakdowns).
