Ram AEV Prospector Power Wagon

The Ram Power Wagon and the AEV Prospector are two very desirable vehicles for remote exploration. In fact, while most trucks are designed first and foremost with on-road miles in mind, these rigs were engineered from the ground up to perform optimally on backcountry adventures. Both models offer unique pros and cons, inviting the question of what would happen if you merged these two overland titans? Well, that’s exactly what AEV (or American Expedition Vehicles) did with the 2500 AEV Prospector Power Wagon. In short, this is just about the most capable full-size truck money can buy. It’s also something of a unicorn with only one previous 2016 example listed on our forum for $56,000, which is considerably more than today’s low-mileage (84,500-miles) $47,500 offering.

From the Seller:

In preparation for NMBR’s (New Mexico Black Range) next truck build, the purpose-built, well-traveled, and well-sorted NMBR Prospector Power Wagon is up for sale. This truck was purchased new by NMBR and outfitted by American Expedition Vehicles in 2017. The truck has been primarily used for NMBR’s full-sized truck (based) fieldwork (wildfire to scouting), guiding, and training across the backroads of New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona. While the NMBR Prospector has been well-used, the truck has [also] been well-maintained to ensure maximum reliability, capability, and performance in remote and rugged settings. This truck is being sold as a complete turn-key backcountry fieldwork or expedition truck.”
