First Grenadier Customers Take Dream Delivery in Morocco

As overlanders, the idea of the Ineos Grenadier is thrilling, the thought of a purpose-built overland vehicle that was made for us, for our needs, and for our way of traveling. What is even more thrilling is the fact that it is actually being produced, and customers are now starting to receive vehicles in the UK. In true Ineos fashion, the first few customers were selected from thousands of applicants to receive their Grenadier in Africa, arriving at one of the most challenging overland tracks on the continent, a pass in the High Atlas of Morocco.

Those selected participated in an off-road selection trial and were ultimately chosen to take delivery of their Grenadier—in Morocco. The trip ended up being a significant challenge, with unseasonable weather, rain, and mud. Check out the video to get a taste.

We wanted to celebrate the handover of the first Grenadiers with a once-in-a-lifetime expedition for three lucky customers,” explains Lynn Calder, CEO of INEOS Automotive. It was an innovative campaign to engage our customers and followers, upping the ante from your standard silk sheet reveal handover. It was always intended to be a challenging trip, enabling the Grenadier’s capabilities to shine, but the whole team got far more than they bargained for.
