Overland Classifieds :: 2019 Mercedes Sprinter 4×4 Winnebago Revel

The Mercedes Sprinter 4×4 is one of the most popular vans on our forum with recent examples including this 2017 Whitefeather 4×4 Conversion, a 2021 2500 4×4, and a 2016 4×4 expedition camper. The Sprinter 4×4 is increasingly the choice for adventurous travellers who desire a vehicle that provides 4WD, comfortable four-season living space, easy access to OEM parts, and relatively low running costs (excluding the initial purchase price). I think one of the primary reasons this platform goes from strength to strength is because the industry has recognised the Sprinter’s desirability. This has resulted in a wide array of aftermarket parts and accessories that transform this already capable van into a bonafide round-the-world expedition rig. If you’d like a better idea of how this vehicle can be outfitted for travel then check out my interview with Chad DeRosa of Living the Vanlife. Alternatively, observe The Van Plan’s drool-worthy Iglehaut Mercedes Sprinter 4×4, which was their vehicle of choice for exploring Africa. Today’s low-mileage (36,500) 2019 Revel is an adventure-ready Mercedes Sprinter 4×4 outfitted and upgraded for the road less traveled by Winnebago.

From the Seller:

“Calling all nature buffs! Here is your chance to explore all the regions you have always wanted to but didn’t have a way to get there. Take a look at this 2019 Revel 44E by WinnebagoWOW what a unit. The large oversized tires and suspension upgrade will take you anywhere in luxury. When you enter the rig from the sliding door you have a fully contained kitchen, and to the rear, there’s a double bed with plenty of storage. There are also many external features including swing-away storage boxes and a full-length motorized awning. There are simply too many upgrades to list so please call for full details.”

The Sprinter is fitted with a dependable 3.0-liter diesel motor that produces 188 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. A long-lived engine and drivetrain are matched with impressive go-anywhere credentials thanks to Mercedes’ Intelligent Drive 4WD system (technically AWD), which can send up to 33 percent of the torque to the front wheels. In addition, the 4×4 model provides 20 percent more ground clearance than the 2WD and a lower-geared differential intended to help navigate steep and technical terrain. Today’s example is a Winnebago Revel conversion, which is a highly-regarded no-expense-spared camper conversion with everything you need to live off-grid for extended periods.
