Overland Classifieds :: 2015 AEV Brute Jeep Rubicon Double Cab w/ Overland-Ready Bed Rack

The Jeep Wrangler is highly regarded for its go-anywhere capability and rugged dependability. Subsequently, it’s a popular platform for overlanding, with recent examples including this $41,000 2013 AEV Rubicon Unlimited, a $43,000 AEV Build w/ Overland Extras, and a $37,999 JKU w/ AEV Components. The key abbreviation in these listings is AEV, or American Expedition Vehicles, a “supplier of OE-quality, performance-driven aftermarket parts, and accessories for vehicles geared specifically to off-road recreational driving and overland adventure travel.” In addition to premium parts and accessories, AEV takes already capable vehicles, like the Wrangler, and further enhances them for off-grid travel. However, when it comes to their Wrangler builds, the crème of the crop has to be their extended and strengthened utilitarian “Brute” double-cab.

Today’s low-mileage example (39,800 miles) is priced at $49,500 (MSRP: $89,258), showcases a plethora of AEV components and accessories, and includes a custom rear bed rack. Lastly, despite its popularity AEV no longer produces the Brute, which means getting hold of one is no easy task and could make today’s well-priced offering a sound investment.

From the Seller:

Built in the American Expedition Vehicles factory, this low mileage 2015 DC350 with the Pentastar VVT is a solid, reliable piece of modern Jeep history. These rarely hit the market as most are being loved and used or are hidden in collections. They have all the good looks of the JK and the utility of a 4-door Pickup. It sets itself apart from Gladiators in its uniqueness and heritage. The bed rack was custom-built to be configurable based upon needs. The composite bed was re-enforced to hold the additional weight.”
