Overland Classifieds :: 2017 Ford Transit 4WD

The Ford Transit 2WD has always been a popular choice amongst vanlifers, but in more recent years has also become a credible overland option thanks to a new AWD variant (check out our 2020 Ford Transit AWD Overland Review for more). This growing popularity has led to a number of aftermarket parts and services that further enhance the Transit’s go-anywhere performance, including a hardcore 4WD conversion from the folks at Quadvan (we recently featured this stunning 2019 Ford Transit Quadvan 4×4). This 2017 one-owner-from-new example features a tasteful camper interior and several premium modifications but crucially was specced with the highly desirable Quigley 4×4 conversion from new

From the Seller:

“We are selling our van and moving from vanlife to trucklife. We lived in Alaska for the last five years, and this van was our gear hauler/weekender. It’s also set up extremely well for northern climates. Now that we moved to Arizona, a different vehicle will meet our needs better.”

2017 Ford Transit 4×4

This 2017 model features a Quigley 4×4 conversion, which includes a Magna transfer case, 2-speed (4H and 4L) transmission, manual shifter, front hub assembly, 2-inch lift, and more (I’d recommend checking exact specifications with the seller). Quigley Motor Company is qualified for Ford’s Special Engineering program for 4×4 systems on Transits, which means the conversion does not impact the factory warranty.
