2001 Land Rover Discovery II
Landrover.co.uk states that the Discovery II was designed “not only as a utilitarian vehicle for all purposes, but as an everyday use vehicle, ready for daily family life.” This particular Discovery is fitted with the 4.0-liter V8 engine, which produces 188 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque, and is matched with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The Discovery II is longer and wider than its predecessor and showcases a 1,599-pound max payload and 5,500-pound towing capacity. Handling was improved thanks to Self-Levelling suspension and Active Corner Enhancement. The all-terrain capability was uprated via electronic systems such as traction control, electronic brakeforce distribution, and hill descent control.
