Year 2021 brought a lot of uncertainty surrounding in-person events, but despite the challenges of bringing large groups of people together, Lodestone events coordinated an incredible Overland Expo series that saw the biggest turnout in the history of the event. A total of 59,000 attendees and 855 exhibitors partook in the excitement across the three locations of Flagstaff, Loveland, and Arrington. Given the continued success of the series, Lodestone is adding a fourth Overland Expo in 2022 which will take place at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds and Expo Center in Redmond, Oregon on July 8-10.
“It was incredible to see the reception and feel the support our fans and exhibitors gave us in 2021 after such a tough year away. Based upon the success of the new Mountain West show, and the overlanding demand we’ve seen in the Pacific Northwest, we felt 2022 was ripe for expansion,” said Lodestone Events Marketing VP Jessica Kirchner. “Central Oregon is a perfect location to round out the Overland Expo event series. We could not be more excited to come to an outdoorsy region rich with natural beauty to outfit, educate, and inspire more overlanders.”
This new event location in Oregon is fitting for the overland audience given the incredible recreation opportunities that abound in all directions: Mt. Hood National Forest to the north, Ochoco National Forest to the east, Willamette National Forest to the west, and the Fremont-Winema National Forest to the south.
Tickets and camping passes are currently on sale to the general public for all four events in 2022. Booth space is also currently on sale for returning exhibitors with new exhibitor sales opening up on December 15, 2022.
