2021 Ford F-250 Lariat w/ OEV Aluma Tray and OEV Hudson Bay Edition :: Featured Classified

Ford F-250 overland

The F-250 remains one of the most popular trucks for overlanding on our forum, and for good reason. Its heavy-duty commercial underpinnings, rugged dependability, well-appointed interior, powerful motor, and class-leading payload are ideally suited to the rigors of the backcountry. It was for these reasons and more that the Tremor variant was awarded Overland Journal’s Full-size Truck of the Year, with publisher Scott Brady stating, “It delivers on everything we need a full-size truck to be: capable and durable, with the payload to haul any reasonable overland load or camper.” Cue today’s one-owner, low-mileage 2021 Ford F-250 (41,500 miles) showcasing a plethora of desirable modifications and topped with an OEV (Overland Explorer Vehicles) Aluma Tray and Hudson Bay Edition Flatbed camper. At $139,000, this is a premium build, but relatively speaking, it’s one of the best value rigs we’ve showcased. For context, just the OEV Aluma Tray and Hudson Bay Edition camper are the best part of $100,000 before you even consider the cost of the truck and modifications. It’s a fraction of what you’d pay for a comparable preassembled expedition truck, yet it provides many of the same desirable amenities and four-season liveability. If you’re in the market for a turnkey, live-in rig for 2025, this would be an excellent choiceFord F-250 overland

From the Seller:

I built this rig for my fly fishing and mountain biking adventures. I wanted something I could take almost anywhere and be comfortable, and it does just that. I’ve camped at 12,000 feet and at temperatures as low as 7°F in comfort and style. It’s not possible to replicate this build for less than $180,000. On the open road, I’m getting 10 mpg, and with the 4.30 gears, the truck runs like a champ—I love the Godzilla gas motor. I’m only selling as I’m moving up to an F-450 and possibly an OEV High Country. I love this rig but got the big-rig bug.”
