The Nissan Titan is often an underappreciated full-size truck within the segment, despite delivering class-leading build quality and reliability. From the factory, it’s well-appointed for adventure courtesy of a body-on-frame architecture, a heavy-duty 4WD system, a powerful/long-lived V8 motor, and a considerable payload. Further still, it can be optioned with the rugged Pro-4X package, which uprates the Titan with Bilstein backcountry-tuned shocks, a rear locking differential, additional underbody protection, rated recovery points, and intelligent onboard assists such as Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist. If that wasn’t enough, this model enjoys impressive aftermarket support and can be reimagined to suit its owner. Executive Publisher Scott Brady states, “The XD is a true heavy-duty variant, built on Nissan’s commercial chassis (fully boxed frame) with their larger rear axle. This results in a quality and reliable 3/4-ton truck that is ready to take the weight of an overland camper and explore the globe.” Needless to say, it’s a pinnacle foundation for a truck camper, and to this end, cue today’s 2018 Nissan Titan XD Pro4x King Cab (45,000 miles), which boasts tasteful modifications and serves as a foundation for a fully equipped Supertramp Flagship LT camper. For those unfamiliar with Supertramp, the company unveiled its original Flagship LT camper at Overland Expo in 2001, and has since built a reputation for excellence. The latest iteration of this premium camper has a starting price of $62,975 and boasts generous amenities, including a lithium battery system with 330 watts of solar, 24 gallons of freshwater, a fully equipped kitchen, climate control, and more. It’s the perfect match for the Titan and creates a pinnacle turnkey travel platform, which, at $95,000, represents an impressive value.
From the Seller:
“Looking to sell as a pair for now. We (a husband-and-wife duo) bought a house last year and decided it was time to settle down. We have been traveling semi-full-time for the past four years out of a Sprinter van and later on a Skoolie. The Supertramp LT is by far our favorite and most capable rig. The design of this camper is phenomenal. We can’t rave about it enough. It has a standing height of 6 feet 9 inches, which makes it feel like you’re in a real home instead of a truck camper. The 360 windows make it feel spacious and open, with ample natural light. And the capability of being on a 5/8 truck makes getting to those remote spots so much easier. Our favorite storage feature is the slide-out drawer under the floor; not only can you fit a lot of stuff in it, but having that space heated makes all the difference to your feet when cold-weather camping. You might notice our camper does not have the Arctic Tern Driver Side Window; this makes the seating area more comfortable for sitting (you have somewhere to lean back), and you don’t have to worry about prying eyes directly into your living space. This rig checks all the boxes, and we’re sorry to be letting it go. Unfortunately, we haven’t been using it much; it’s in mint condition and ready for adventure.”
