2015 EarthRoamer XV-LT :: Classifieds

EarthRoamer in the snow

They say that necessity is the mother of invention. In 1998, when EarthRoamer founder Bill Swails realized there was no off-the-shelf go-anywhere rolling-home for extended off-grid exploration, he decided he’d build his own. In 2003, he built the first EarthRoamer production unit, which was “an all-weather, all-season vehicle designed from the ground up to be capable of traveling over all types of terrain while providing a luxurious camping experience—all without the need for water, sewer, or electrical hookups.” Since then EarthRoamer has become the luxury overland platform by which all others are measured with a wide range of models equipped for round-the-world exploration. It’s, therefore, a desirable option on our forum with recent examples including this 2008 XV-LT, a 2010 XV-LT, and an EarthRoamer #28. Despite their incredible size, these rigs have impressive all-terrain capability as demonstrated by the EarthRoamer team on the Overland Expo West 2017 skills course. Today’s 2015 offering has covered just 42,000 miles and showcases extensive premium modifications and an exceptionally well-equipped camper.
