1995 Ford F-350 w/ 1973 Alaskan Camper :: Classifieds

Ford F-350

The F-350 is a favorite for overland builds with recent examples including this 2002 w/ topper, 2015 w/ XP Camper V1, and 2016 FX4 w/ Four Wheel Campers Raven. Today’s 1995 Ford F-350 might be the coolest to date and is topped with a fully restored 1973 Alaskan camper. Powered by the “million-mile” 7.3 Power Stroke, this iconic full-size blends classic styling and field serviceability with modern upgrades and convenience. At $35,000 OBO, this package represents impressive value when you consider the relatively low mileage (125,027 miles) and list of modifications. Further still, it has recently undergone heaps of maintenance that included a new torque converter, alternator, radiator, water pump, glow plugs, brake master cylinder, fuel pump, and a transmission rebuild with a three-year warranty (see original listing for full details). As a photographer, I drool over these older gen F-Series as they exude charisma while being capable and absolutely bulletproof. Unsurprisingly, they’re popular for backcountry travel with inspiring builds from Down 2 Mob Overland, Blue Ridge Overland Gear, and Truck House Life

From the Seller:

This is an incredible old body Ford. It has upgraded 2008 F-250 Superduty axles, disc brakes, and suspension. Subsequently, it rides like a modern truck with the coil springs up front. I no longer need it as I’ve downsized to a smaller rig. It includes a fully restored 1973 Fiberglass 8-foot Alaskan camper, which is super rare. These fiberglass Alaskans were only made for a couple of years and fit the F-350 perfectly. The camper includes jacks to remove from the truck if desired.”

An exceptionally long-lived engine is mated with all-terrain capability thanks to 4WD, an uprated and lifted suspension, locking front hubs, upgraded axles (4:10 gears), and front and rear Eaton True-Trac limited slip differentials.
