We often fall in love with a particular vehicle for emotional reasons and automatically decide that it’s the rig we need. Maybe we have fond memories from our childhood of driving around the forest with our father in his old Land Cruiser. Naturally, when we begin looking for our own adventure vehicle, experiences like the one I just mentioned can hijack our decision-making process. But is this really the best way to select an overland vehicle?
