We may be a 4WD-focused website, but we still appreciate beautifully restored classic sports cars, especially if there’s a good story behind it. The 1965 Mustang convertible in this week’s video belongs to Jason Momoa’s wife, Lisa Bonet. It was the first car she ever bought, but it had seen better days. Rust, rot, and time had taken their toll. However, it was a rare 1 of 3, with many custom parts. Instead of scrapping it, Jason hired Misha Munoz and the crew at Divine 1 Customs to perform a frame-off restoration, bringing the tired-looking car back to its original glory (well, maybe even better than original).
