Video of the Week: Coffee, Wrenches, and a Porsche 356

What could possibly be better than cruising to your local coffee shop in a classic Porsche? Well, if you ask Nico Samaras, cruising down dusty dirt roads first, and making sure that it’s a 356 you restored yourself. That’s because Nico is a lover of journeys and not destinations, of classic and simple things instead of the flashy and modern ones, and, most of all, a champion of anything that brings people together. That’s probably why he rebuilt this amazing car in his garage with the help of his father, and why he now runs one of the coolest coffee shops in Arizona, Four Till Four. From this small retail location, he’s not only able to bring people together over a hot beverage but host events where car enthusiasts of all kinds can share their experiences and passions for the vehicles they drive, no matter how beat up or dirty they might look. So today we encourage you to sit back, relax, and enjoy a little mix of cars and coffee.

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Chris didn’t receive a real taste of the outdoors until moving to Prescott, Arizona, in 2009. While working on his business degree, he learned to fly and spent his weekends exploring the Arizona desert and high country. It was there that he fell in love with backcountry travel and four-wheel drive vehicles, eventually leading him to Overland Journal and Expedition Portal. After several years of honing his skills in writing, photography, and off-road driving, Chris now works for the company full time as Expedition Portal's Senior Editor while living full-time on the road.
