In this week’s video, Scott takes the new Sniper X overland trailer out in the Prescott National Forest for a proper hands-on test. While the profile of this trailer may look similar to other trailers from Down Under, it has some notable differences. The dry weight of this trailer is 1,800 pounds, and with a GVWR of 4,000 pounds, the resulting payload capacity is a massive 2400+ pounds.
The coil-sprung suspension delivers good terrain clearance although it does have a beam-style axel. Thanks to its pop-top, there is standing room inside the trailer which provides an elevated level of comfort if you need to escape foul weather. Watch the full video below for all the details.
