If you are in need of some winter inspiration, you have come to the right place. In the film Continuum, produced by Arc’teryx, a group of six professional athletes embark on an extraordinary winter journey.
Traveling from Washington through Canada and up to Alaska, they showcase top-tier, jaw-dropping skiing and snowboarding in pristine, virgin winter landscapes. Led by athletes Robin Van Gyn, Michelle Parker, Lucy Sackbauer, Elena Hight, Tatum Monod, and Spencer O’Brien, their adventure is captured masterfully in a 25-minute film with an exceptional soundtrack. With a focus on resilience and unity, particularly among female athletes, this journey underscores the importance of sportsmanship and community both on and off the mountains.
For their part, the Arc’teryx team breathes new life into 137 jackets and pants destined for the landfill by repurposing parts of those jackets into colorful, practical tents that eventually are repurposed again after the adventure. Produced by Homestead Creative, the film showcases the athletes’ dedication to pushing boundaries while fostering a deeper connection with nature.
