The Ford Camper is Back

Celebrating the release of Ford’s all new aluminum-bodied F150 for 2015, Ford and Livin’ Lite have joined together in designing a new series of Ford truck campers to match. The new camper, pulling it’s interior and exterior styling cues from the F150 platform, is due to be unveiled at the National RV Trade Show this week. The first of the campers are expected to arrive in the spring, with versions for the F250 and F350 (which will no doubt be even larger and more spacious) following shortly after.

The two companies continue to keep a tight lid on the release of any additional details, and there’s little more information to be gleaned from the press release and various other articles up on the web. All we know so far is that the new truck campers will be based on the popular CampLite models, feature matched fabric and color options with the F-series trucks, and that the new Ford-branded camper lineup will be expanded to include tent trailers, travel trailers, toy haulers and fifth wheels. We’re hopeful we’ll see some photos of the camper come out of the show later this week, if we do we’ll post them here.
