It is only natural that the overlanding craze would spill over into other outdoor pursuits such as fishing, dirt bike riding, kayaking, and hunting. All lovers of the outdoors have the same basic needs, and the BFX is a trailer built to satisfy the needs of outdoor enthusiasts and hunters.
Built For Xtreme’s latest innovation is a robust hunting and camping trailer designed to meet the demands of adventurers. Constructed in Iowa with American-made steel panels atop a powder-coated chassis, the BFX trailer measures 14.5 feet in length and 7.4 feet in width, offering a durable and spacious solution for off-road adventures.
The trailer’s heavy-duty independent suspension system features dual shocks and airbags on each wheel, complemented by Thunderer 35 x 12.50 R15LT tires. This design provides 26 inches of ground clearance to navigate challenging terrains, ensuring stability and comfort and making it suitable for various off-road conditions.
Storage is a key aspect of the BFX trailer. It includes multiple compartments, such as sealed bulk storage to protect gear from the elements and spacious rear storage for larger equipment. The trailer also features three 57-inch slide-out drawers capable of accommodating up to four gun cases each, catering specifically to hunters’ needs. An open under-roof storage area is designed to hold fishing rods, kayaks, and other sizable gear, enhancing its versatility for different outdoor activities.
For culinary requirements, the BFX trailer is equipped with a slide-out cooking station featuring a 22-inch Blackstone grill, facilitating meal preparation in remote locations. The water system includes a 40-gallon tank, a tankless water heater, and a water pump, providing hot and cold water access for various needs. The trailer also has two 132-ounce growlers to keep beverages hot for extended periods.
Lighting and utility are well-considered in the BFX trailer’s design. It boasts a 360-degree array of efficient LED floodlights to illuminate the campsite, ensuring visibility during nighttime activities. The trailer also includes a drop-down poly butcher table for processing game and an optional jib crane to assist in lifting heavy items such as game, spare tires, or generators, so no more hanging the kill from a tree.
Optional features enhance the BFX trailer’s adaptability. Customers can choose to add a FreeSpirit 4-season rooftop tent and a 270-degree awning with sidewalls, transforming the trailer into a comfortable camping setup. These additions provide shelter and sleeping accommodations, making the trailer a comprehensive solution for extended outdoor excursions.
The BFX trailer’s base model starts at $24,750, and fully equipped versions, depending on selected options, can cost up to $32,425.
